Harleysville, PA - The Dean Pump and Fybroc divisions of
Met-Pro Corporation (NYSE: MPR) announced today that they have
implemented ePUMP-FLO web-based software. This software allows
customers to save time and increase efficiencies by sizing and
selecting pumps via Dean Pump's website (www.deanpump.com),
Fybroc's website (www.fybroc.com), or via Met-Pro's website
(www.met-pro.com).
Customers can select, evaluate, and analyze centrifugal pumps
using the Dean Pump and Fybroc electronic pump catalogs located on
each division's website. The ePUMP-FLO software uses a powerful
web-based search engine to select all of the pumps that meet the
user's specific performance criteria. The customers can then select
the best pump for their application based on size, efficiency,
and/or NPSHr. Pump curves and performance data can then be
displayed or printed for comparison and evaluation purposes.
Customers can also send a detailed request for a quote, via email,
directly to the respective pump division.
"Met-Pro Corporation is excited about the opportunity to ease the
pump selection process for our customers," said Raymond J. De Hont,
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Met-Pro Corporation. "The
implementation of ePUMP-FLO will facilitate the speed, efficiency,
and accuracy of pump selection and enables us to better respond to
our customers' needs." James G. Board, Vice President/General
Manager of both Dean Pump and Fybroc divisions, added "The rollout
of this web-based selection program will provide world-wide
accessibility to Dean Pump and Fybroc products providing each
division with the opportunity for increased sales on both a
domestic and international basis."
Also on the horizon is a web-based interface that will enable
authorized distributors to efficiently and accurately select a pump
and generate a detailed pricing report for a total quotation
solution.
